You’re an advocate of living an active and fit lifestyle. What inspires you to be that kind of person?
Just having the ability to move and not wanting to lose that ability. I attended a seminar once where the speaker said “You have to appreciate the ability that you have to move. Let me take that away from you for one day and let’s see how that feels.” I always tell my clients that we train to improve your functionality. They go to me with the goal of looking good but that’s just a side effect. The main goal should be functionality and being able to move and perform with ease and efficiency.
Spoken like a true head coach and fitness expert. So, you’ve been busy, we see…
Oh, busy is an understatement. I’ve been working on my blog, which I have found to take more time out of my day than I expected. I’m working on a new concept for a TV show that will document the scientific aspect of sports and athletes. I’ve also been abroad for training to be a master trainer for Triggerpoint therapy and I’ve been conducting seminars since this January.
